My OH and I and 3 other couples want to go to the country for NY

Anyone know of anywhere that is clean spaciou, sleeps 8 takes a dog in Scotland?

Left it awfully late, we went through this for ten people a couple of months back,eventually found somewhere but then two couples backed out because of the excessive cost.:rolleyes:

Take what you'd pay in high season, add half again and that's roughly your figure:eek: Great way to celebrate though:beer:

Having said that, http://www.historic-uk.com/StayUK/Scotland/index.htm is where we booked our break for mid-december. I can't vouch for the cleanliness since we've not been yet.

hmm a flat swap in dundee? however I'm only in Perth hardly worth going anywhere!

Read this thread and had to giggle and put my tuppence worth in.....


Also on offer in Dundee is a 3 bedroomed semi, complete with shed and garden big enough for a couple of decent sized tents.

Would sleep more than 8 comfortably in the house (one sized floor fits many), the shed, mmmm maybe 3 at a push, and the tents are 4 man and 6 man, oh and a 2 man too unless you bring your own.

Would happily swap for a weekend anywhere in the world where its not raining right now or dreich in anyway shape or form. Is this too much to ask for ?
