Body Shop Ginger shampoo

Hi, I have tried samples of the new Body Shampoos and basically I think they are rubbish but I know they still have the old Ginger shampoo which hasn’t been discontinued. I have heard its very good for itchy dry scalps and doesn’t strip hair colour like Head and Shoulders/Vosene etc. Has anyone use this?

  • I haven't used the Body Shop Ginger shampoo and conditioner - but would recommend the ALDI ginger shampoo and conditioner:)

I use the Body Shop ginger shampoo. I bought it after reading a review online. I don't colour my hair, but did find that with "normal" shampoos I got spots on my scalp. I don't get these when using the Body Shop ginger shampoo. It also lathers well, cleans well and rinses out easily. It lasts a very long time too.

I would definitely recommend this shampoo, but unfortunately can't comment on what it will do to your hair colour.

I don't suffer from dandruff as such. I have had an allergic reaction to some shampoo/detergents.

There have been the odd few occasions in the past, where I had a really badly irritated scalp (with dry red flaky skin, nice!). The only thing that soothed it, was the snake oil massage bar by Lush.

    It really calmed my scalp.

    Hi
I use this and find it really soothing for an itchy scalp, and I don't find it affects my hair colour
