Offer of interest in property

We have had a letter through from the OR with regards to their interest in our property and i was wondering about the following:
- The OR asked for a property valuation and a mortgage redemption statement including any early repayment charges. They seem to have ignored the early repayment charge, is this correct?
-The offer they have made is just shy of £3000, and the wording of the letter is "the Official Receiver requires the amount of £xxxx as consideration for purchase of the interest in the property." Can we still make a counter offer? Anyone have any gut feelings for an appropriate amount?
many thanks in advance

1. The question is are you redeeming the mortgage - the answer is no.
2. You may make whatever offer you wish, they as well may decide if they want to accept that offer. What the OR is looking for is to get an offer that would beat what they could get from other sources within the time that they have to deal with itHi, im Debtinfo, i am an ex insolvency examiner and over the years have personally dealt with thousands of bankruptcy cases.
