Those of you who use liquid which line do you do? If I do a thin llne its hardly noticeable but any thicker and it looks too much.

Have you tried gel liner? I used to hate liquid eyeliner until someone introduced me to MAC fluidline. A fine line is subtle but still noticeable and it certainly takes a neutral daytime look right into the evening.
Bobbi Brown's gel liner is good too but MAC's is cheaper.Make £10 a day challenge (August) - £175/£3100 -
It depends. I use a thin line during the day, which just sort of makes my lashes look thicker and a thicker line if I'm going out.
I use the felt tip kind.Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0 -
I'd stick to a pencil eyeliner, not as messy!0

I am the same as peachy price. I find that although a thin line isn't noticeable I notice and feel undone if it isn't there. I find that a thin line adds definition and outline to my eye and although others may not notice I am wearing eyeliner it makes my eyes 'pop'.
I find a thick line too much during the day unless it is a less harsh colour than black but even if I use a lighter colour i will still use a fine line of black at the roots as well.If you always do what you have always done, you will always get what you always got!0 -
I normally have a thick line most of the time, but that's more down to messing it up and having to go thicker to make it more even/symmetrical!!!0

I only partially outline the top of my eyelid. I start approx 3/4 of the way in, and do a tapering line, which gets thicker at the edge. I don't like mine too thin, but if I do it thickly the whole way through it can be a bit much.
I've found pencils best for this. I'm currently using a dark green which works well this way.0 -
I do a thick-ish line but keep it fairly short in terms of width. I find it easiest to apply it quickly and then pull the skin taunt and swipe a wet cotton bud up around the line. It gets rid of any mistakes and gives me a nice in between thickness if that makes any sense.0
