I like Sainsbury cos they tend to sell a bag of mixed sizes @ good prices.

Also, it wasn't the supermarkets that demanded perfectly shaped fruit, it was the EU who said they couldn't sell mis-shapen fruit.
It's only in the last couple of years they have changed it, but people are used to perfectly shaped fruit now, so the odd shaped loose apple always gets bought last.0 -

Funny how the Moroccans have on sale in their markets etc. big, any shape, tasty juicy tomatoes, but export to us the cherry (all the same size) tomatoes.0 -

yes sainsburys used to do small apples, pears etc for kids but not sure if they have stopped that range now0
