Hi all,
thanks for the comments.
Been doing quite well today, had my hair cut but my sisters treated me, usually only £12 every 6 weeks but was nice not to have to spend that today! But then went out to lunch with a friend, we shared a pizza £8.40 spent. Then £3 spent on a drink, a packet of sweets & some on offer jaffa cakes for packed lunches
Now taking full advantage of free listing on ebay and listing things I've had to dust off as I've been meaning to list for so long!!Finally dealing with debts.

I had my lightbulb moment back in August and was in a similar situation to you. I know you can do this but don't cut back too much. I did this and made myself miserable. I'm a teacher so had 6 weeks off over the summer. I hardly went anywhere or spent anything during those weeks and I just felt rubbish all the time. I also live at home like you do so I can save for my own place. Spending diaries are always an eye opener. I've kept one since August and it's amazing how it all adds up. Just wanted to say keep going really, you can do it!This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0
