hi all, im after an up to date list of lenders that only use experian to check credit history on personal loan applications.
my experian credit rating is 976, i recently applied for a loan with tesco and was turned down only to ring them and find out they only use equifax for this.
ive seen the other posts on here that have 2-3 yr old lists, so does anyone know any off hand? sainsburys seemed to tick the box a few years ago, does anyone know if this is still the same.
my equifax report shows all the missed payments i had 3 years ago before i sorted my act out, where as experian dont show any of them.
any help would be much appreciated

Ah, Tesco only lend to Experian candidates with a score of 977 or higher.....0

No, you are right, please excuse my flippancy.
What I am getting at is that the credit score that Experian charge you for is virtually meaningless in the eyes of any lender as they all have their own criteria.
More important in the scheme of things are factors such as how much credit you currently have access to based against your annual income, any late payments on your accounts, etc.0
