Gel nails

I posted this in the I want to buy it or do it forum but thought I would ask here too,
I had the rio uv gel nails a few years ago for christmas and never could get the gel to cure properly, I now know this is because of the lamp, anyway I was wondering if anyone knows the best kit to buy?
I was looking at the Rio Salon UV nails one that is £89.99 on argos and also one on ebay, its a 36w lamp and comes with a few gels etc. What I want to know is are the ones from china any good? Has anyone tried the more expensive rio kit or are there any other brands you can reccomend?
Thanks

hi ,
ive recently done a nail course and would def go for Bio Sculpture gel its the best on the market but if u like rio then try usin a sanitizer first and ruff the surface of the nail but not to must just rub a soft nail file over the nail a few times that should do the trick

Sorry to hijack, but I'm going for a Bio Sculpture Manicure on Saturday, I've been told that it won't wreck my nails like having tips on or gel extensions, is this true?**Trying my best to be the best that I can**

I know what you mean about the basic rio kit I think the gels are fine quality but the lamp just isn't strong enough. I would buy a 36w lamp from ebay they do them in pink.0
