Gel nails

I posted this in the I want to buy it or do it forum but thought I would ask here too,
I had the rio uv gel nails a few years ago for christmas and never could get the gel to cure properly, I now know this is because of the lamp, anyway I was wondering if anyone knows the best kit to buy?
I was looking at the Rio Salon UV nails one that is £89.99 on argos and also one on ebay, its a 36w lamp and comes with a few gels etc. What I want to know is are the ones from china any good? Has anyone tried the more expensive rio kit or are there any other brands you can reccomend?

hi ,
ive recently done a nail course and would def go for Bio Sculpture gel its the best on the market but if u like rio then try usin a sanitizer first and ruff the surface of the nail but not to must just rub a soft nail file over the nail a few times that should do the trick

Sorry to hijack, but I'm going for a Bio Sculpture Manicure on Saturday, I've been told that it won't wreck my nails like having tips on or gel extensions, is this true?

yh its true bio lets ur nail breath (if that make sense)

I know what you mean about the basic rio kit I think the gels are fine quality but the lamp just isn't strong enough. I would buy a 36w lamp from ebay they do them in pink.
