Another query on F&F offers

Just a quick question has anyone else done f&f offers that have a dmp with cccs and have done it the way that cccs has suggested in their settlement pack and how have they faired, its just on here the suggestions are different for example starting at a % and working up to total amount you have, they get you to do a sum (amount owed to creditor x lump sum available/total oustanding) to find out what to offer. I have a problem in that we have a creditor we dont want to make an offer to as we hope to pay all others off and go back to original contract with them otherwise as we owe them 50% we wouldn't have a decent amonunt to offer the others. And cccs suggest you send your other creditors a list of what your offering the others so that they can see they are all treated fairly, this of course causes problems if we do that as NR wont be treated the same way. Cccs suggest start from the smallest debt and work up.
ARRRGGGGhhhhh this is doing my head in as I dont know which way to do it and also dont really want creditors to know exactly what we are doing.
Do I just approach this in my mind as if we have just earned some overtime and we are just offering what we have to the smallest upwards and ignore the advice to send list of other offers.

Each company is not going to check/verify with the others on the list what is being offered to them is correct - ie you can say one thing to one company and do the opposite - if you know what I mean
Best of posting how much lump sum you have got and the names and amounts owed of your creditors and the debt companies names. Also if you know if any of the debts have been bought by the debt companies and not just collecting on behalf (as these are more favourable in accepting a F+F).0 -
Hi aiming thanks for your reply, here is the info:
Lump sum is 14k
Creditors are:
Alliance & Leicester £2714.38 (o/draft) In house recovery interest stopped (default)
Argos £139.18 interest still charged
Barclaycard £2271.10 (c/card) Interest sopped
Cabot £5152.62 (c/card) interest stopped (was egg c/card)
Clarity Recoveries £613.31(was citicard) interest stopped
Egg loan £1598.84 interest stopped
MBNA £999 (c/card) Interest stopped (possibly in house recovery unsure)
MBNA £4402.21 (c/card) Interest stopped
Natwest £3147.56 (o/draft) interest stopped but some charges added whilst on dmp
Natwest £8928.66 (loan) interest stopped (default)
Littlewoods £567.14 (catalogue) interest still charged
We also have a loan which is part of our dmp and is part of our together mortgage £31500ish at the moment, (are in contact with them to get them to stop charges as it was their choice we went on dmp rather than IVA,)we are hoping to pay all our other creditors off and go back to paying them normally, they also insisted we changed our mortgage to interest only, which we have been doing for a year now. We dont plan to offer them anything as we feel that if we include them in this lump sum then we will get pretty much no's across the board from the other creditors as we wont offer any of them a decent amount.
Any thoughts or advice please feel free to comment.0
