My wife is a manager in the local one here, and she rang to tell me to get some for xmas, when I got there, all the staff were doing it. Head office made the mistake, they linked another offer to it and it bought them up at 70p each.

They have no manually overidden it for the time being. We got some anyway :D:D;)

I think you will be dissapointed, she told me head office had told all stores to manually overide it. It was only working on the self checkout tills too.

yes yesterday they were on a 2 for £12 offer, when they reduced them this morning they forgot to remove the multisave, but it was quickly picked up on and rectified, even i did not manage to get them at cheaper price and i am a manager there:eek::mad:

Hang fire on buying these, correct me if I'm wrong, but what with ASDA now doing there Price Guarantee there going to have to beat Morrisons price of £4.69 or they'll be refunding the difference with an added 1p! Hopefully they'll down price them soon!

Yeah she came home at 7 and said most of the staff had bought them before the seniors realised (they are a shower of !!!!!! in this store) then there was an email from head office telling them what to do, she said it got rectified at around 2pm.:rotfl::rotfl: I sent my mum up too, with our discount card.:D

was told yesterday that asda had the usual tins of chocs at £4 a tin but have yet to check it out
