Yesterday I asked a colleague: "if you receive an email from our company telling you that you'll have to work on Sundays "For FREE" from now on, would you accept?"
her answer was a simple "YES"!!!!!!

It's rare to meet an out-and-out Nazi these days. A proper racist socialist.

There is more to National-Socialism than Hitler and his criminal murderous actions. Lots of political thinkers had ideas along these lines well before Hitler came along. I condemn Hitlerism without reservation but that should not exclude the fact that there are valid ideas in Fascism/National-Socialism. Go to Italy and you'll still find many people strongly supportive of Mussolini and his regime - I can't say I blame them.
  • I walked back into college yesterday lunchtime and found myself mentally comparing the students to the students of Alan Davies "teenage revolutionaries" of the 1980's.

Everyone seemed to be standing around actively or passively smoking, holding hands and gazing at their handheld mobile devices.

After a bit of pondering, I have come to the conclusion that life is too expensive to spend time revolting. There are too many necessities to buy. Too much media to occupy our minds. Somehow - maybe by debt - maybe by something else, certainly not the national lottery, which Orwell thought would pacify the masses, we've all gone grey.

Not only has your other thread on immigration been locked, but you are now defending Nazi's.

You really are a nasty piece of work.

Tens of thousands of decent British people fought and died in WWII to rid the world of these sort of views

    There is, you are right.

I am also right to say that whilst there are many that effectively follow fascism there aren't many Nazis.

I find Nazism to be a low point of socialism, socialism being creeds that should have died with the Berlin Wall. That you don't says a lot about you unfortunately.

Not true. Loads of people died in WWII to prevent the German Government from grabbing land. That Nazis were killed was merely a happy side effect.
  • Great idea, I wonder how we pick the person for the job?

Apparently a funny moustache is a prerequisite requirement.

... and the tens of thousands of Jews that were liberated from concentration camps were also a happy side effect too.

But don't tell marklv - he doesn't like Jews and Asians too much - just like that Mr. Hitler

Well, you might not blame 'em, but go to Spain and you'll still find countless families mourning the deaths of forebears at the hands of the fat b*s*a*d's Air Force. Go to Greece and you'll still find ditto families mourning the deaths of forebears at the hands of the fat b*s*a*d's Army.

After which, take your one-man Mussolini Fan Club to Italy's rural hinterland and find just one who doesn't smile at a collective remembrance of the fat b*s*a*d swinging from a lamp post.

Or to save you all that hassle, just book a cheap package holiday to Lake Garda and with the fiver I'd be happy to send you, go into a local bar and raise a toast to Salo.

Though note: you may not be able to post on MSE for some considerable time after that.
