UV gel nails?

I had the rio uv gel nails a few years ago for christmas and never could get the gel to cure properly, I now know this is because of the lamp, anyway I was wondering if anyone knows the best kit to buy?
I was looking at the Rio Salon UV nails one that is £89.99 on argos and also one on ebay, its a 36w lamp and comes with a few gels etc. What I want to know is are the ones from china any good? Has anyone tried the more expensive rio kit or are there any other brands you can reccomend?

I had the Rio and could never get it to work that well. I then got some nsi gel got 3 small trial pots,nails and glue from ebay and they worked really well with the rio light. If your light is not working well try changing the bulb.I would like to be a glow-worm.
