Its worth looking at the cancer research uk freewill service.........they did wills for me and OH last year -we gave a donation in our will which we'd have done anyway-and providing there's a solicitor in your area it can be all sorted out.
You have to be over 55 for this service.
Hope that helpsI would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

Bear in mind that these are not free; they require a donation to a charity, possibly not of your choosing, and some solicitors are known to pressurise customers as regards the amount.
For a cheaper, well-done and pressure-free will, you might do better to try a member of the Institute of Professional Willmakers (www.ipw.org.uk)0 -
I read somewhere that they expect at least £75 which is probably the cost of a simple will.“It was only a sunny smile, and little it cost in the giving, but like morning light it scattered the night and made the day worth living.”

Thanks but all seem to want payment in some form. I'll just stick with the basic will I already have.0

There's also Will Aid every November - which is for everyone and covers a number of charities. Again the 'suggested donation' is £75.

Free Wills Month
Free Wills Month brings together a group of well respected charities to offer members of the public aged 55 and over the opportunity to have their simple Wills written or updated free of charge by using participating solicitors in selected locations across England.
The Free Wills Month campaign runs during March but appointments are limited and allocated on a first come first served basis. Once a participating law firm is fully booked, they will be removed from the website. When all appointments are booked the campaign will close.
To take part simply complete the two step process – postcode first then a few more details later.
Once you’ve completed step two just select a convenient solicitor and call them to book your appointment, mentioning Free Wills Month – you have to call during March before the campaign closes but your appointment can be at a later date if convenient for you and the solicitor.I’m a Senior Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Competitions Time, Shopping & Freebies boards, Employment, Jobseeking & Training boards If you need any help on these boards, do let me know. I do believe that the free Will is based on the solicitor you choose taken his commission 4-15% from your estate alongside probate fees after your passing etc, and prior to the beneficiaries receiving the net sum. So effectively not such a free will. I'd be happy to be corrected because my information is based on recent discussions with friends who have experienced such an eventIf youcan lie down at night knowing in your heart that you just made someone’s day just a little bit better, you know you had a good day!!0
