Anyone have any info on a decent DVD recorder with built in HDD. The Toshiba rd xs32 at around £400 is the best I've come across so far. Can anyone give info on any other models? Should i wait for the rd xs33 coming out in sept. with 160gb HDD?
Any info apprecited.
Thanks

can't you just upgrade the HD yourself?although that might void your warranty..
do you have your own pc?? surely using a pc dvd recorder is considerably cheaper.. you can save films to your pc HD then..0 -
Several forums on PVRs including comparisons of toshiba and other models on Digital spy, with opinions and info from people who know a lot more than me about them. I have a Pioneer, which is great, does everything you want, easy to use but unfortunately not cheap. Hope this helps

Have thought about using Pc's HDD, but PC is upstairs and main tv is downstairs. Even considered wireless networking to try to achieve this, but doesn't really seem to be feasible. Really need a dedicated machine.
I have thought about buying the toshiba rd xs32 and upgrading the HDD, but don't really know whether this option would be cheaper than waiting for the 160 Gb rd xs33 due out in Sept.
Thanks for forum link. will check it out0
