colpermin. An alternative ?

I have started using this product to stop me from feeling sick and not being able to eat.it's brilliant, but It's quite expensive,£5 for 20 and to be taken 3 times a day. Thats only a weeks supply. Does anybody know of an alternative that is just as good.

I think almost any peppermint oil capsule would be very similar. I got some from Holland and Barratt. I've got other stuff off zipvit.com, but not peppermint.

    2-3 per day after meals.

360 capsules is £7.99 (delivery is £1 if order is under £15)
    90 capsules is £2.49

    90 capsules £5.99

Milk of Magnesium does a similar thing (lines the stomach). Its also worth seeing your doctor about this as they could prescribe you something that does the same job or better still, work out what the problem is and help you deal with that.

Thanks for your suggestions. Have been going to the doctor for 2 years and nothing he gave me did any good. Will go and tell him about these tablets and see what he says. Will try the other peppermint ones.

    2-3 per day after meals.

Also I need something to take well before meals as the nausea feeling stops me eating a meal

Think you should get a second opinion- if that were happening to me, I'd at least like to know what the problem wa before I tried to wipe it out- just to rule anything more serious out and not being able to eat as a result of nausia does sound like it could be quite serious.
I'd also see if you can see a natropath who can sometimes help with things like this, and also allergy testing to see if its any particular types of food which make things worse. Its perfectly normal to get a second opinion- not all doctors have the answers.

Milk of magnesium is designed to line the stomach, you can get this on prescription afaik. I would worry though about taking so many suppliments as they could lead to kidney stones which are a whole other ball game!
