Protected income calculations only apply to CS1 cases - yours is now a CS2 case and is based purely on your income. There were winners and losers on both sides - those with high housing costs and step children ended up worse off, whilst those with low housing costs or none stood more chance of getting a lower assessment. Bear in mind that the PWC partner income should not be used just as much as your partner income is not used - they are not the parents of the children and so should not be taken into account in deciding how much you should pay.0

DX2,
I had a look at the link but am unclear. Does this mean they will base the assessment on the gross pay rather than the net pay in future?? Basically meaning my payments would go up even more?? If this is the case I might as well start applying for bankrupcy now!!
The percentages they use will be slightly lower than now. But I worked out that still on the same pay, an NRP would be paying slightly more.August GC 10th - 10th : £200 / £70.61
NSD : 2/80
