Printer with cheap cartidges, OS Vista

Our Epson C48 printer has developed a fault, that simply won't sort itself out, despite me updating driver software, replacing cartridges, etc.

So, it seems like it's finally died. I do have a Lexmark Z25, but the cartridges are over £50 to replace, and it's driver software won't work on Vista or anything more recent than Windows 2000.

So, looks like a need a new printer, that can be used with Vista, that has reasonably priced replacement cartridges. Can anyone recommend one?
I'd like it to be sub £50 if possible.

This Epson gets decent reviews and costs £40 including delivery from Amazon. I can't find it cheaper anywhere else.

Thanks so much for your help. That's perfect, and the cartridges are a great price to cope with the amount of course work, and school homework the children print off.
