Morning Everyone
I have just started a DMP with CCCS and am renting out my house, living with my partner to try and save money. I have just been told that my tenants are moving out on the 11th October, leaving me with no income from the house, and having to pay the mortgage and contribute to rent.
I really want to sell the house, but had it up for 2 years prior to the tenants moving in. I'm going to instruct the estate agents to put it back up for rent and sale, and hopefully someone will take interest; but I'm sure the estate agent will probably take the first months rent again for finding the tenants.
To cut a long story short, I need to get rid of this house, it is the bain of my life. I owe approx £112,000 on a Northern Rock Together mortgage, £95,000 on the mortgage and £17000 on the unsecured loan. The loan is going into the DMP, so that leaves the mortgage plus any fees to cover. I had the house valued 2 years ago at £120000, and it went as low as £105000 with some viewings but nobody taking the plunge.
I've looked into things like national homebuyer (or whatever it's called) but they want an upfront fee and ther's no guarantees it will cover the mortgage.
I'm not sure if I'm on the right thread but I could really do with some good advice, I've been a quiet viewer of this thread for a few months now, it gave me the push to get my DMP, so hopefully it will help here.
