As the post above says. Play.com is not a good deal as you can save lots more through other sites"Save the cheerleader - Save the world"0

Above post refers to 26 inch at which is cheaper but if its 32 u want play is better option. Or if you have the cash costco do it for 694 including a 3 yaer warranty.0

Is Plasma as good as LCD0
-
Plasma screens can (more often than not) be marginally better picture quality than LCD as they tend to not be so pixellated - however plasma screens will use up to THREE TIMES as much electricity to run so are not so energy efficient.
A friend of mine was boasting about how fantastic his plasma screen was until I told him this fact. Then he said "I wondered why my leccy bill had sky-rocketed." After this, he turned off everthing in his home apart from his telly and said his meter was still racing round!
I'm sure people will argue with this but I used to work for a major independant electrical retailer who sold a lot of these. The newer breed of plasmas are definitely better than ones 2/3 years ago. Still juice-hungry though!
Swings and roundabouts I fear. Better quality - higher bills! Slightly less quality - more dough in your bank account. Take your pick!
Cheers! :beer:0 -
Personally I think when you want a screen which is 42"+ you should opt for a plasma, anything under and LCD will do just as well as a plasma does.I'm better off without you.0
