So I entered the trend micro laptop competition here:

Today, I received an email from:
promotions@standard.co.uk

London Evening Standard

www.esadvertising.co.uk
They told me I was one of the winners and that I would be contacted.

However, according to the comp the winners were to be contacted by telephone on Monday 20th September.

Can someone tell me if it's a scam or real?

    I agree, I would email them back to say you put down the wrong number and it should be fine as it's from the correct email address.

    Even if they were to ring the wrong number they would ask for you and hopefully the caller would tell them it's the wrong number before the call carried on.
