It's a pity Ocado don't have slots because I much prefer their website, and their delivery service is fantastic.

That is why i shop online, especially at christmas. Everyone seems to take the whole blooming family shopping for some reason, hate it, hate it, hate it. Would much rather have it delivered at that time of year.

Every year, there’s extremely high demand for delivery slots during Christmas week (20th-24th December). Here’s how we give everyone a fair chance to book a delivery.
Delivery Pass members
You get priority access to our most popular Christmas slots. To manage demand, we’ll be opening the slots in several phases over the week commencing 18th October. Don’t worry, we’ll send you an email to alert you when your slots are available to book.*

Not a Delivery Pass member?
All remaining Christmas slots will be opened at the start of December. We’ll announce it on the website as soon as they’re available.

Please note that some stores will not deliver all your items - check carefully - I had a slot booked ages ago and was very pleased with myself - but went into my order yesterday to add 'normal' shopping and I could not get that part of my order delivered to my home (I would have to go to my local store to collect) only the 'entertaining items' would be delivered.

Have now cancelled and will wait for Ocado or Sainsburys to open their slots - couldn't get either booked last year as priority given to regular customers.

Hope that helps someone else making the same mistake as me!
