Hi all, well, yes its official, I am a menopausal old hag1
Finding myself getting overgeated very quickly and really need to peel off in a hurry! Not so tricky in the summer months but how do I combine the comfort of natural breathable fabrics like cotton but still stay warm enough when things are "normal"?
I sleep in a pure cotton nightie but my shoulders get cold.
At the minute my Autumn wardrobe runs along the lines of nice leggings and boots, hip length tunics worn over strappy tops.
(fairly casual 'cos I dont go out to work)
But those are all man made fibres and I can glow so much that my hair starts to curl, seriously!
The one thing I have going for me is that I am tall and fairly slim for a 50 yr old.
Any ideas/ how did you cope?
Thanks, Arty.

Hiya, I'm not quite there yet, but I do know what you mean.
Layers is the way to go I feel, you can get some quite trendy cardigans now, I wear the ones which just tye in front, not ones which actually do up.
So I can still wear my summer tops but have a layer which can come on or off accordingly.0
