To freeze or not to freeze that is the question?

Options
Trying to be organised, I made a lasagne this afternoon up to the point where I would grate cheese, add it to the top and whack in the oven. Mr LMLOD didn't want it for dinner tonight and it's unlikely we'll get to eat it tomorrow.

Should I freeze it in its current state or add the grated cheese and then freeze it? It's been a while since I've had to freeze a lasagne so I can't remember at which stage I did this.
Its nice to be important but more important to be nice!

I always put the cheese on mine, cook it then freeze it as it only needs reheating then when its defrosting. Never froze an uncooked one so not sure how well it freezes.

I often freeze them uncooked. Generally I make them up to and including the cheese on top. Then wrap very well, then freeze. They do take a while to defrost (in fridge overnight is best), or you can cook them from frozen - make sure you have a foil covering for first half hour at least, and at a very high temperature (a 30 min burst gets things going) then reduce temp to a more moderate one and check that it's done and piping hot by putting a knife in the middle - if its too hot too touch it should be OK. Can't give times as don't know what sort of size you make.
