Well this is what I've done so far...

Options
Well I've made a decision on how I am to clear my debt.Instead of thinking of doing it,I've actually gone and done it.

I am £20,000 in debt. All of this money is done to my pure greed.I've throught long and hard and I have promised myself not to ignore my ever growing bills.

So I have got out and gotten myself a part time job working on the weekends.I'm going to be a debt collector of all things. Now I know this may have some people thinking how hypocritical of me.But it will help me pay my bills and thats better than doing nothing at all.:o

I have been given my first mystery shopper next Friday so I'm going to do it on my lunch hour during the week.I'm very nervous To be honest I hope I don't screw it up:confused:

I bite the bullet and totaled my debt up.thats my loan,my three credit cards and my car finance.I phoned my bank and have asked to top up my loan (£297 pm over 4 years) for another £10,000 in order to pay off my cards and car and only pay the loan every month. My bank who I have banked with for years and never missed a payment decided to only allow me the money if my husband went on the loan to top up my wages (2nd job can't be accounted for as I haven't started as yet)Basically it's all gone through so the money will be with me as soon as I have recieved and returned the paper work.

My loan will now be £527.47p per month and thats over 3 years and 6 months.I can pay extra in lumps of £1000 so I'm hoping I'll be debt free before the loan ends.:j

Also I have put my flat on the market so we'll be buying a house soon too.Gosh I never through I would feel positive about everything but I am.
I just want everyone who's feeling down in the dumps not to bury their heads.Sort it out there's always a way out even if you don't think there is.I ended up telling my husband what I owed and he wasn't impressed but he helped me figure out a plan of action to get me back on the straight and narrow.
