I have a INOVIX imp20 -512. My pc is an XP. When I connect it to my usb connector the PC doesn't recognise it. The MP3 came with driver disk which all seems to be for Win 98. Any Ideas?

perhaps you selected the wrong operating system? it is compatable with windows xp. Do a search for portable mp3 player software as I am sure there are plenty of programs available.

look for the words portable device manager on the above link

Hi
You don't need a driver for XP, turn the mp3 player on and try another usb port and then goto My Computer and look if you have another hard drive showing up.
Hope this helps0 -
i could also be clashing with another drive on your pc, go to administrative tools, computer management, disk administrator and see if it shows up in there.Ever stop to think and forget to start again?0

Yep, that did it for me. If it shows up, assign it a drive letter that's not being used.0 -
Thanks guys. It is not showing here either. the player is switching on when I plug it in but I dont get the bong as the device is recognised. Perhaps a dodgy connection. I will have to try it out on someone elses PC.woo wrote:i could also be clashing with another drive on your pc, go to administrative tools, computer management, disk administrator and see if it shows up in there.0
