Debt Relief Orders in Northern Ireland

Hi All,
I have some questions regard DROs and cant seem to find the answers I need on the internet and wondered can you guys on here help.

Obv I am in serious problems with debt and am looking at all options available. I have recently separated from my husband (debts in my name) and gone part time in work (as I have a young baby) which leaves me very little to manage my debts. I have looked into a debt management plan but I have very little left over each month and turns out its not really enough for a DMP.

I then have heard about DRO but everywhere I read it refers to England & Wales. Is a DRO available in Northern Ireland?

The other questions I have is the similarities to bankruptcy - i.e. how long does an order stay on your file, can you still travel, will your work be notified and will this be advertised in local papers where court notices are reported on?

I have read that my name will be added to the insolvency list, which is public and does this mean if my current or a prospective employer checked this and seen I was on this list that I could lose my job or be refused a job.

Obviously these questions/answers will affect my choice of method going forward for my plan of attack to sort my finances out once and for all.

I think that DROs are not available in NI, but cannot find anything to confirm this.
