Hi, I know this isn't what you're wanting but I buy corn kernels and make them in a pan. Put some oil in the bottom with one kernel. When that kernel pops add a couple of handfuls of kernels and put the lid on the pan. Stand back and watch it pop!
I find it so much better to do it that way - a big bag costs pennies and you know exactly what you're adding to it.

I second what la escosesa said
I've had a popcorn maker & it was a complete waste of time, it took up space in the kitchen/cupboard & the popcorn went all over the place, I ended up binning it & going back to the pan on the hob method
if you do it, just don't take the lid off to have a look

Same here - have one of those duck popcorn makers, but the flavour is not the same as those cooked in a pan, would say that you need a very heavy bottomed pan though! What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0

The reason i wanted a maker was because its air popped - thats bound to be healthier than oil popped but thanks any way0

I don't have one of these but I have seen it in action and it's fab... I'm not normally a lover of popcorn but I actually ate some that came out of it!

Looks quite stylish too.
