Lender Bank Charges

Hi,
I have recently purchased a property which we have completed on. We have received a chaser from my solicitor for settlement of GBP 25.00!! This is the fee the lender took when transferred funds for the mortgate to the solictors bank account. Firstly I dont understand as to why a lender would take a fee for transferring their own funds to another bank, and secondly I was not told that I would incur this fee. I know £25.00 is not a lot to stress over, but as I have incurred all my own charges personally I dont see why I should have incur this charge just because the bank has taken a fee to transfer to my solicitors bank? I am i liable for this ?
Any advice on this matter would be appreciated. Thank you.

Have you already settled the solicitor's bill?
If so it should have been included in this.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it. I have settled all charges and taxes owed from me as per their statement sent to me. However this charge was not included in their statement. The have only charged me the bank transfer fee to transfer the mortgage funds to the seller only. They have produced a statement to show there is shortfall however this charge is not specifically stated. Thank you.0

Sounds like their error to me so I would argue it.
A lender TT charge would apply but the solicitor knows this and should have accounted for it.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it.
