i have recently married and want to understand my options regarding my property and my partners. we both live in the property in my name with an outstanding mortgage. my partners property is solely in her name and is rented out however it not a buy to let mortgage.
are there are benefits in keeping these mortgages in separate names and if not what are the implications in turning both mortgages into joint mortgages?
thanks
Steve
