Freebie pet bags in Tesco-pet food and coupons

In my local store there was a lady handing out free pet bags in the pet food aisle, celebrating national pet week. You could collect a dog or cat bag. My dog bag contained:

1 x ceser chicken casserole
1 x Bakers bacon snacks
1 x rope + ball toy
2 sheets of coupons just for Tesco, money off Bakers, Felix, Ceser and other pet foods.
1 coupon for 50p off Purina One which can be spent anywhere.

Hope your store has them too.

I got a cat 1 today.
2 samples of cat food.
A bowl
5 x 50p off purina
1 sheet of coupons for money off tesco's as above

I got mine yesterday at Tesco Pengam Green, phoned another local store and they were not doing the promotion. Hoping they will shortly to bag some more goodies for my terrible trio of kittens !

This must be another Tesco ploy to change the world to Tesco thinking :mad:

National Pet Week was back in early May and is being run again next May.

So I guess this is Tesco National Pet Week :mad:

it's something like 'love your pet week'. it's a Tesco thing.
if you don't like Tesco then don't go there, simple

Oh but I do like Tesco.....its my local shop!!!

I am just frightened as to where will thay actually stop. The idea of everything under one roof and out of town shopping is good for the consumer. But if they had a direct affect on your business you would think differently.

Sadly the town planners and the local councils lack vision and are against any new out of town superstores / retail from developing.

They also are now (in accordance to "green policies) reducing car park places and at the same time increasing the parking charges.

No wonder Tesco continues to grow......they're encouraged by councillors!! :mad:

Tesco would not continue to grow unless you and millions like you stop shopping there.

Vote with your feet if you don't like the way it's dominating the market place, don't blame the councillors, you're the one giving them the money to continue expanding.

I got my Tesco pet freebie bags yesterday.
One for my mutt and one for my crazy cat who resides at my mums (I left home, but he knew where he was better off!):rotfl:

The dog has already destroyed the ball/rope toy so he hasn't got the treats yet!!
