Interest MBNA Credit Card!!!

Hi All,

Im sure I am not the only one who pays an absolute fortune on credit card interests...........Amongst others that I wont go into I have a card with MBNA which I owe about 2k on. The interest is massive and each month all I can pay is only slightly more than the minimum payment which does not knock the balance down at all. I cannot get accepted for any other credit cards on a 0% balance transfer deal. Is it worth me writing to them and asking if they can reduce the interest............or will they just laugh at me. I have tried ringing them but they don't seem interested, obviously they are making easy money out of me. It would be nice just to see a small chunk start to come of this particular card.

Any ideas would be appreciated........hope Im not the only one???

Cheers

Write out and ask them to freeze or reduce the interest, there are template letters on National Debtline website. They might say no but you don't ask you don't get!
