hi guys i need a bit of advise on a form i have i have recieved to fill in. its for a credit card debt which is with a company called drydens lawyers.
basically i have no problem filling it in and also signing it where it says i accept i owe the debt as i do. however there are a couple of sections i am not happy with filling in namely bank account details as it is wanting all the details of acc no sort code ect also employer address contact and payroll numb. do i have to complete these parts ? as i feel i do not wish to give this info and as far as i am concerned an income and expense sheet is just that whats coming in and going out i feel it is asking for too much info.
any help would be really appreciated

You don't have to fill it in if you don't want to. If have no problem putting the figures down then just do that bit and no more.:footie:
Regular savers earn 6% interest (HSBC, First Direct, M&S)
Loans cost 2.9% per year (Nationwide) = FREE money.

Under no circumstances would I provide my employer details or bank account details to a debt collection agency/solicitor acting on their behalf (only a court can order this, anyone can politely demand lol). Its giving them carte blanche to contact you at work or take money you dont agree with.... Technically they cant make you fill in the form, but obviously it does put them in the picture and show willing.
Also, I found that the income/expense sheets they sent were very basic and missed a lot of the things we spend money on like the odd night out, haircuts, clothes for work, christmas etc. I actually did my own sheet and sent my creditors that - you could use the MSE statement of affairs, it covers all eventualities
And occasionally they can argue an item - in my case they said my daugthers activities and pocket money were too high. I basically said its my sheet, take me to court and a judge can decide on it.... be prepared to stand your ground. Yes you owe money (as do most of us) and yes you will pay it back... simples
