Credit file clean up, not had reply from some creditors?

sent off my letters recorded delivery on 2nd august. Next, Egg, capital one have replied saying they will mark my account as settled but HSBC, RBS havent repsonded, what shall i do now?

leave it a week or two then look at your credit files again, some will change the details on your credit files & dont bother informing you so the creditors you've heard nothing from may have done something
if not then you need to write again and if they still refuse then its time to lodge a complaint with the information commisioners office
