Asda Price Check

For the last few weeks I have been using the Asda Price Check web site, where you can enter the details of your till receipt and if the cost of your "basket" is dearer than the other supermarkets, you can print off a voucher and get a refund from your store. I have had quite a few nice refunds, but now, as so often happens things are getting difficult.

The problem is that it is almost impossible to contact the site. Whether this is because it has just been too popular and they have been paying out too much cash, and have decided to slow things down a bit I don't know, but I am getting a few receipts that will soon be timed out if I can't get through soon.

But what really winds me up is that they are now advertising the service on the tv. Nice one Asda, you can't cope with the load now, how are you going to cope when everyone is trying to get through.

I don't use it now as a lot of products said not compared so it wasn't a true reflection

It has always been advertised on TV - that's the first place I heard of it, even before this site!!

Annoyingly you have to have at least 8 different items, I tend to ride my bike there so often only pick up the bargains I know of, so no good to me!
