Help with claiming misold protection

Hi there

Just wondering if anyone could help me
A bit of history first
I have been on a DMP with Payplan for nearly 12 months now...all is ok...most have accepted the plan and some have sent the debts to debt collection agenices.
I keep hearing about people claiming monies back from credit cards and just wondered how to go about it
I have about 7 credit cards..all taken out before 2007, i know it cant make my credit any worse but will it make my creditors start hassling me again?
If i decide to try and get the charges back...how do i go about it?
