I have a HP Netbook (no CD drive), basically corrupted software and needs to be re-installed (which I have on CD)... I know that I could go to the likes of PC World, but it'll be pricey, any local recommendations?

Can't you just borrow an external drive from someone and do it yourself, even if you can't borrow one you can buy one for under £20 !

Don't pay someone just to reinstall software, all they are doing is inserting a cd.

just buy a usb cd rom drive, google for them or check amazon or dabs or something, can pick one up for £10 and just install the software yourself.

I'd be grateful for that, the above mentioned contact is quoting 45 pounds. I'd be tempted to just buy the cd drive, but knowing my luck it would get complicated. When I try to switch on the computer at the minute,it's just a black screen, not surehow they work with that.
