Fruit Picking for jam, in or around Glasgow?

Can anyone tell me where to pick wild fruit (brambles etc) in or around Glasgow? this is to make jam. Pref site which is not too near main roads (polution). All replies welcome

Plenty bushes in Renfrewshire, Ayrshire from Inchinnan to Langbank & down to Girvan. Many small side roads.

Thanks. will maybe go for a drive out if I dont get any tips nearer Glasgow.

Innchinnan, Renfrew, Renfrewshire PA4 9LP. Tel: 0141 889 3492. Open: Saturday and Sunday from 9 am to 5 pm


Great hour out for family and individuals. I actually like getting up right at 9am, place is still quiet and I can pick to my heart content.
