Photo recipe thread

Options
Having caught up with the Mr BE vs Tigs78 chicken pie thread this morning (missed it "live" - my internet connection has been down for the last couple of days) it got me thinking that a photo recipe index was actually quite a good idea, especially for more (perceived) complex things like jam making, souffles etc.
Many people are not great at following written instructions, but pictures make things an awful lot clearer to understand.

My not-thought-out-thoroughly-at-all-yet theory would be for the originator to start a new thread with their recipe & photos, so that eventually a nice BG could add them to the a new section in the recipe index. Obviously it would need to be monitored (perhaps a limit on the number of pictures posted per thread or something) and would also rely on you, the lovely cyber residents of oldstyle-ville, to spend time taking pics & posting them on here.

I'm sure there are a million other reasons for & against, but does it sound like a good idea in theory?

You host your photographs at onlice web site. I use PHOTOBOX you upload them from your computer and copy and paste into your post.

Just register . In your account, browse, your pictures, open the picture , upload and voila. Copy and paste. :)

Then go to the "Edit" option up the top of the browser page and find "Paste" from the menu there.

    Or press CRTL+V :D
If you lend someone a tenner and never see them again, it was probably worth it.
  • Nope, all those options greyed out too - I wonder if it's because I'm in Firefox? I'll open MSE in IE and try again.......................

Yes - absolutely nothing happens. I just tried to C&P from Photobucket to a word document and that worked fine but I cannot C&P to here either in Firefox or IE

Never mind, I'll just have to look at all of your lovely pictures instead :D
  • Right - found a way to do it but the image was about 3 foot by 3 foot!!!!!!

How do I make it smaller?????

Your not getting out of it that easily. Keep trying.

Do you copy and paste the bottom option from photobucket?
