GET IN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THE DEFAULT IS GOING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have, after 2 years of hard work, finally had this default overturned! I appealed the original Ombudsman decision and Barclays have now backed down and agreed to remove the default and pay me £250 compensation (the 250 is a bonus really as the default removal was my main aim).
The Ombudsman said that this case was "obvious" and should never have got that far.
HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORAY! I can finally consolidate some old debt and play the zero interest credit card game to pay that off quicker.
I hope this helps others on here and just goes to show that perseverance pays off!!
