We're meeting a mortgage advisor tomorrow and just wanted to know if anyone had any tips for things to ask.

Also, are we likely to be able to get a fixed rate deal or are they disappearing?

    Are you seeing a bank adviser or a 'Whole of Market'?

    Ask as many questions as you like, no matter how trivial you may think they are.

    Fixed rates are available. Do not be led in to a product you do not want.

    They were recommended by the company that we want to buy with, I believe they are 'whole of market'.

    Are the mortgage options more limited because it is 85/15 split buy?
