Writing this on behalf of a friend of mine.
He has had contact from Equita Bailiffs regarding an unpaid from a unpaid car fine from along time go.
On the 8/9 he got a letter and we called him to tell him we'll sort it and pay them £5 a month because thats all he can afford due to being employed.
Today, again, at this parents house he has received another hand delivered letter saying if he does not call them by tomorrow (11pm) they are going to execute a warrent and to remove goods even though he lives 5 miles away and not at his parents house.
I have told them both, Bailiff, and Equita the address change and still they continue to harras his parents.
What can we do?
No summons ever from Northampton CC as it says.

Your friend needs to get hold of the court and find out where the correspondence for the case was sent. He may be able to send an Out of Time Declaration to clear up the case.

Does he have a car? if so he needs to sel it tonight to you or his folks (for £1 and get a receipt). Otherwise they can levy on it.
Once that is done, they can only remove goods if they have already been in the house and done a levy. He needs to make sure he keep all his doors and windows locked. His folks just need to tell them to get lost and call the police if they refuse. it is more difficult with fines, so read up properly.
Also Equita are well known on here for charging fees in excess of those permitted. So he needs a break-down of the fees.If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing0 -
Please let me apologise for the lack of sense on my original post as I was being rushed to write it.0
