Cheapest Frontline Spot On Flea Drops (or good alternative)?

What are the cheapest places to get Frontline Spot On Flea Drops? I would take a cheaper alternative, as long as it is effective (no Bob Martins).
A Vet did tell me that they no longer recommend Frontline as it is no longer as effective as it once was, but I have no idea what else is good.

I paid £16.33 for a pack of 6 with free delivery on your first order from MedicAnimal which was the best price I could find.
I've used Frontline all summer as I do every year and I havent had any more problems than usual e.g. cat comes in crawling in bugs cos he has been laying under a bush, Frontline kills em and they fall off - usually on my pillow.Yuck!0 -
