Can anyone tell me are IVA's, Individual voluntary agreements, a good idea if you are desperate or not, I am considering doing this but am not sure if this is a good or bad thing............I mean I know its not actually a good thing as such, but you know what I mean, Fee

    It will depend on your personal circumstances - for some people an IVA can be a good thing, and a way of avoiding bankruptcy, but they do need to be managed properly as they are a 'legal' contract between you and your creditors. If you are considering this as an option for debt, why not post your SOA and people can advise you of your best course of action.
