Thanks for the response.
I have written to Capital explaining and asking for advice.
The car is worth about £8000. The loan has £13000 left to pay on it, that is without any penalty that Capital also impose.
I think it may just be easier to include it in my bankruptcy!0 -
Thanks for keeping us updated. I hope, although I wouldn't bet money on it, that Capital do offer some help.
If you are considering filing for bankruptcy, come and visit us on the Debt Free Wannabes board - you'll find lots of help and advice there.I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.
If any of my experiences, or the knowledge that I have gained from those experiences, can help anyone who finds themselves in similar circumstances, then my experiences have not been in vain.

No I understand that~was just thinking if it was urgent that you needed an adapted car you better get started on the motability side of things quick as there is a longish waiting list. But then I guess you'll not be able to drive for a while after surgery.....New Year~New Start!!

Okay, final settlement figure from Capital is £11.009.51
I had the car valued yesterday at £7000
I am going bankrupt on 20/11 so it is not a problem any longer.
Thank you all for your help and guidance with this, much appreciated.0
