Hi all,
I mean the M*ller Vitality type thing which my DSs drink lots of - I hate putting them all out for recycling, surely there must be a use for them?!

Do they have lids?
Could your children's school use them for crafting? Not sure how old your children are? But if young enough you could set them a task to make something arty out of them, you know the type of thing, castles, space ships etc, might keep them entertained on a wet weekend.
Sparkle them up with some glitter, sequens, fabric and use as neckalce holders maybe?
Pierce a small hole in the bottom of each one and string a load of them together, paint in halloweenish or christmasy colours and use as decorations? Or draw a letter on each one to use as a banner H A P P Y B I R T H D AY, A N N I V E R S A R Y, etc.

my mil is a brownie leader and often need loads of the same thing for a craft activity.
from the shape of them they look as tho they'd make a good body part of a doll, with floppy rag doll style arms and legs.
is there a local brownie pack?

Thanks for the ideas, very good! No, had foil lids so no longer have lids we can use. Will go and get them out of the recycling bin...0

You could put them on top of canes in the garden to either scare the birds, as they will rattle slightly or as a protection from damaging your eyes from the tips of the canes.0

The Benecol ones have lids that can be reused - I use one to keep a small amount of Oramorph (morphine syrup) by my bedside, as the bottle it comes in is huge and hard to open with arthritic hands.
The reused Benecol bottle is also small enough to put in my bag if we're going out, so that I have my pain relief with me.If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
I used one of the ones with a lid to take small amounts of squash in to work.0
