hi sorry but this will be long
i will start from the begining
i have debts upto the amount off 48 k pounds i went to cccs who were great but in the end it was still to much money going out. Me and my partner have split due to debt so we have sold our house (should be out of house next week)
We have about 30 k left over my ex partner has been good enough and said i could have 25 k of the money to pay my crediters but none of them are excepting my full and final settlement offers
I have explained that i will not have any money left out of my wages each month to pay a single penny in fact i will have to have support from parents just to get by
I am thinkig of giving my ex all the money and declaring my self bankrupt i am that feed up i am trying to do the right thing by paying as much of my debts back but no one is intersted all they keep saying is the loans are still in term we can not except your offer
could somone please give me some advise on what to do next

Sorry about you splitting up, and especially as you appear to say over debt, the stress and worry have no doubt contributed.
Don't give up with the offers. Explain to them what has happened and why. If they still don't accept then contact CCCS or the CAB and they should be able to help. I expect others will be along shortly to offer some more (and probably more useful) advice shortly. Good luckDebt free Nov 11 :j0 -
Hi wolff,welcome to DFW :hello: You say you have offered full and final,but the debts are still in term,are you actually behind on your payments?
If you are not in arrears this is the reason creditors will not consider an offer.
What have CCCS suggested as the best course of action?
Why don't you post an SOA on here and see if anyone can save you some money to help you out.
Good luckDebt at highest £102k :eek:

Hi wolff,
You've got a reasonably good hand to play but I'm a little under the influence so won't make any comment this evening. Something I have to say though, is that when you sell the house make sure the proceeds of the sale don't go into a bank or building society account that is connected to your existing creditors or you'll never see any of it again.
Will be in touch,

Hi Wolff,
welcome :beer: and you have certainly done the right thing in posting here. I am definitely no expert but I would say you should post an SOA so the good people who are experts can advise.
If it is possible to pay 25k off a 30k debt after you sell your house, then the guys here will advise on how best to go about getting rid of the final 5k.
All you have to do is post your SOA and you will be on the right track to be debt free:T I can't say enough about how much this forum has helped me and changed my attitude to money and debt so can only strongly encourage you to seek the help of the fantastic people here:D0 -
if you would like substantial help you need to post a full statement of your financial affairs (SoA) that is full details of
income;
itemised details of spending;
full details of debts, debt amount, minimum monthly payments and APRs
additionally say whether the debts are uptodate, behind or actually defaulted
also can you be clearer about the house sale and the distibution of the 'profit' between yourself and your ex.
if your are behind with debts to your bank as Richard_S says open a new a/c with someone you have no debts to and ensure all income goes there rather than your bank.
if you are considering bankruptcy, dont even think about 'giving' your share of the house proceeds away...the OR will be most displeased and will in any event reverse it.
but post the SoA etc.0 -
what is a soa
sorry bit new to all this0 -
statement of affairs. breakdown of finances i believe x0
