  • I'm not up to cleaning today but I am going to attempt some soup making to use up the manky mushrooms from the fridge and see if I can muster enough energy to make a banana loaf and then write down to ginger cake recipe from last weeks thread

Might attempt some HHI later on if possible

Pen-pen - you've set me off wanting a slice of cake now with a cuppa!

I have phoned the college re getting on the course and I can, yey!!! Told work I won't be able to do Mondays plus another day(not sure what day yet!!), they were fine with it. Need to find £190 for the course and £36 to get my CRB check re-done(runs out soon).
That means I really have to get my butt in gear as ....Monday afternoons-college, Tue and Thur mornings Welsh class plus one full day in a school(Will have to be a Wed or Fri).

I have done a few bits on the list this morning so will find that and update it now.....
  • At last I'm done....
Thanks for the lists, as ever. I'm in, but I really need to do my sitting room today, so I'm substituting my own list if that's OK:

    Clean Sitting Room:
[STRIKE]Tidy desk area and hoover underneath
    Hoover beams and light fittings
    Hoover lamp shades
    Tidy and polish coffee table
    Tidy newspapers, pencils, ornaments
Dust/Hoover fireplace, chimney hood, seats etc
Sticky mitt piano and all wooden furniture
Turn the seat pads on the sofa; hoover underneath
Windolene picture glass, TV screen and mirrors
    Hoover skirtings and edges
    Hoover carpet
Hoover underneath tall boy and behind bench[/STRIKE]
Wash hoover filter and leave to dry

Will be starting a HHC at 10:00am, though it will probably be a whole load of other little jobs first. Anyone want to join me?

    MissH
    xxxx

Just the filter to wash now; and additionally I've cleaned all the loos and made a slow-cooker curry for tonight, so feeling very smug now.

Must dash out into the garden for beans - then off on school run. See you all tomorrow - hugs to all who need them, and fond thoughts for Toots

Thanks for that Sexy, I have everything needed so think that is what I will make Thursday. Don't have time tomorrow or Wednesday as we are off to Costco and WinYip in Croydon tomorrow and then DH's parents for dinner on Wednesday :) I shall use it as my down time on Thursday after STEPPS, I'll need it..lol

Ok that's all the flying done for the day - kitchen looks all sparkling and clean and living room looks nice and tidy. Shall hoover once DH has finished going in and out of the garden, he is mowing so is traipsing grass in and out..lol.

I'm now going to add my new Yankee Candles to my list on the computer, then watch my afternoon of SciFi on Virgin One

DS3 has a middle ear infection and is on antibiotics. He is shattered as he was up most of last night with the pain. We just had a lovely sleepy cuddle.

Done HHI today but haven't really got any energy after a busy, fun filled weekend.

Need to collect DD2 in a minute, I hope the walk will wake me up a bit. DS3 can stay in as DH is working from home.
