Informal chat with MD

Hey people,
I sent my CV to a company, about a month or so later I had a telephone interview. Then a couple of days later I was told I had a face-to-face interview which I went to. Last Friday I was told I had been successful at the face-to-face interview and next part of the selection process was an "informal chat with the MD" of the company. Has anyone else had an 'informal chat with the MD' to get a job? If so, can anyone give my any tips or pointers? They would be much appreciated!

My advice has no basis more reliable than my own meandering experience.

I own and run my own company with 88 FT employees. I met with each of them before I appointed them.
I just want to check out the person, see if they are as good as stated at their interview and run past them the company ethos and some of the contract terms.
I always try to do it away from the office in a pub or cafe (though don't always suceed) so the person is not too nervous.
Also consider it another chance to ask questions about the company.

Mind your table manners if it involves going for a lunch, especially if you are expected to entertain clients. One firm I know takes people out and one guy lost the job because he ate like a pig and they didn't want him representing them.Cash not ash from January 2nd 2011: £2565.:j
OU student: A103 , A215 , A316 all done. Currently A230 all leading to an English Literature degree.
Any advice given is as an individual, not as a representative of my firm.0 -
It may be 'informal' from his point of view, but from yours you need to dress up as well as you did for the previous interview.Signature removed for peace of mind0
