I am a bag snob, I hate clothes shopping and shoe shopping but have quite a bag fetish.

I now buy leather look bags as I know sooner rather than later I'll get bored and start looking for a new one - I am actually quite red faced at how many brown bags I have owned!

My advice depends on what type of bag person you are - if you want something to last for years - buy leather, good quality and a classic style.

If you are more like me spendless and get something more disposable!

I've got Fossil and Longchamps bags that I have had for years and years that have still got loads of life in them. IMO buy the best leather bag you can possibly afford, it's worth it in the long run.

I bought a Fossil bag last month and I've just ordered one which is the same but smaller. It should come tomorrow - so excited!
  • Depends on the size and use intended for the bag. I do find that leather bags can be incredibly heavy before any item has been inserted in them which puts me off sometimes. Then there's the cost of course...

My current tote was bought in France. It's not leather but it looks like it and holds all my junk. It was 50 euros and I'm happy with it.
