Life insurance question on BR forms

Options
Hi Guys
I am filling in Step 3 on the Assests section of the BR forms. It ask for any life insurance policies. I have put the details down of the policy but have a question, it asks for the approx value of the policy. Sorry if this is a stupid question but do I put the amount of the insurance as stated on the policy? this would be the amount I was looking to cover (mortgage etc) is this the figure they are asking for? I have only had the policy for 1 year 9 months.
Thanks
Cissie
xx

It is the amount that would be paid out in the event of a death.
